Do I have to change my domain if I get a new host?

No. Provided that the domain is registered in your name (as it should be), you can simply update your nameservers (from where you manage your domain names) to that of your new host.

Please use the following steps to transfer an existing website from your current provider to Nexpoint:

1. Make a backup of your current site, taking note of any email addresses currently there.

2. Use our online order form to place an order for a shared hosting account.

3. Contact your current domain registrar and have them change your DNS to the following:

Primary: NS.NTIHOSTING.COM 128.121.4.3

Secondary: NS2.NTIHOSTING.COM 128.121.4.4

This will point your domain name at our servers.
