How do I create a DSN (Data Source Name) in Plesk to connect to my database?
(Login to the Plesk Control Panel) - [ https://DOMAIN.COM:8443 ]
- Click on your domain (DOMAIN.COM) at the bottom of the page - Click on the (ODBC Settings) icon - Click on (Add New ODBC DSN) - Give the DSN a name and select the driver corresponding to your database - Click (Ok) - Fill in the database details MS SQL [ Server ] | [ localhost ] | | [ User ] | [ DB_user ] | | [ Password ] | [ DB_password ] | | [ Database ] | [ DB_name ] |
Microsoft Access (.mdb) [ DBQ ] File Path | [ D:/web/vhosts/DOMAIN.COM ] | | [ UID ] Login ID | [ DB_user ] | | [ PWD ] Password | [ DB_password ] |
MySQL [ Server ] | [ localhost ] | | [ Database ] | [ DB_name ] | | [ User ] | [ DB_user ] | | [ Password ] | [ DB_password ] | | [ Port ] | [ 3306 ] |
- Click [Next >>] - Click [Finish]
