[SSL] What is an SSL certificate?
An SSL Certificate is a digital document that contains data used to facilitate a secure channel for internet connections. SSL certificates are used primarily for eCommerce. SSL certificates must be installed by both parties for a credit transaction to work, the party issuing the credit transaction and the financial authority fulfilling the credit process request.
