[General Ecommerce] How can I assure my customers that their transactions are secure?

The industry standard for securing eCommerce sites is the implementation of an SSL Certificate. Once an SSL Certificate is installed on your site and associated with the desired URL, that URL will show in most browsers accompanied by an icon or other indication that the site is secure. Along with that, the URL or web address in the navigation bar of the browser will begin with HTTPS:// instead of the standard HTTP://.
